Whereas it may seem romantic to wed on the Valentine's Day, you should remember that Valentines Day is a hugely popular day in Las Vegas chapels. The line at the chapels may be up to five hours long. Another popular day is the New Year's Eve, for obvious reasons. Out-of-town wedding guests will be competing for the flights and hotel rooms with the other tourists who will crowd the city to celebrate the New Year. Reception sites are also solidly booked during the holiday period. The Marriage License Bureau of Clark County is open 24 hours on holidays but long lines are to be expected.
